With a strong commitment to community welfare and preventive healthcare, the CGC Naya Savera Foundation organized a two-day Free Eye Checkup Camp on August 29th and 30th, 2025. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of eye health while ensuring that quality vision care services were accessible to individuals in need.
The camp was conducted by a team of qualified and experienced ophthalmologists and optometrists who carried out detailed eye examinations and provided free consultations. Advanced diagnostic screenings helped in the early detection of refractive errors, cataracts, infections, and other common vision-related issues. Each participant received personalized guidance on eye care practices, lifestyle habits for maintaining healthy eyesight, and the importance of regular vision checkups.
Special attention was given to individuals from underserved sections of the community to ensure that no one was deprived of essential healthcare services. To further support the beneficiaries, free medications and spectacles were distributed based on medical recommendations. This step significantly improved accessibility to proper vision correction and treatment for many participants.
