Craft workshop at Majatri Gurudwara

From June 11 to June 15, 2024, CGC Naya Savera Foundation NGO and Fashion Design Department, organized a five-day free craft workshop at Majatri Gurudwara, running daily from 10 AM to 1 PM. This initiative aimed to empower rural women by teaching them valuable skills to earn their basic livelihood. The camp included active participation from the CGC Naya Savera Foundation, ensuring a comprehensive and supportive environment for learning.

The women were taught various crafts such as tie-dying, painting, embroidery, and cutting. These skills not only provided them with creative outlets but also opened up avenues for potential income generation. Upon completion of the workshop, participants received free certificates and essential items to aid them in their craft endeavours. The camp was a resounding success, fostering a sense of empowerment and self-sufficiency among the rural women and reinforcing the commitment of CGC Jhanjeri to social development and community upliftment.
