Chapar Chiri, Mohali – June 5, 2025:
In celebration of World Environment Day, the CGC Naya Savera Foundation organized a large-scale tree plantation drive at the historic Fateh Burj in Chapar Chiri, Mohali. The initiative witnessed the participation of over 65 spirited volunteers who also led a rally to raise awareness about environmental preservation and the urgent need to plant more trees.
Adding star power to the event, renowned Punjabi film actor Baninder Bunny joined hands with the volunteers in planting approximately 500 saplings, reinforcing the message of collective responsibility towards nature.
From planning the rally route to ensuring the proper planting and care of each sapling, the volunteers showcased exemplary dedication and coordination. The drive not only highlighted CGC Naya Savera’s commitment to ecological sustainability but also served as a strong reminder of the impact that united community efforts can create for a greener tomorrow
