On 27th March 2025, members of the CGC Naya Savera Foundation actively participated in the Anti-Drug Rally, also known as Walk Against Drugs, held at the Dussehra Ground in Kharar. The event was graced by the presence of the Honable Governor of Punjab, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, whose support added significance to the rally’s cause.
The rally was a grand event aimed at raising awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and promoting a drug-free society. Over 20 colleges and schools came together to participate, showcasing unity and determination in combating this social menace. The CGC Naya Savera Foundation contributed to the rally with a strong delegation of 50 dedicated members.
Participants covered a 6 km walk through Kharar and landran road, symbolizing their commitment to spreading the message of living a healthy, drug-free life. The event garnered substantial attention from the local community and served as an inspiring example of collaboration and activism.
