On World AIDS Day(1st Dec 2023) , the Chandigarh Group of Colleges-Jhanjeri took a proactive stance in raising awareness about the importance of HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment. In collaboration with IVY Hospital, Mohali, the institution organized an enlightening awareness talk that aimed to educate and empower its student community. The event, spearheaded by the Department of Student Welfare in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) and the Red Ribbon Club, witnessed the presence of esteemed guest speaker, Dr. Sonal. Her expertise and insights provided valuable information on the current state of HIV/AIDS, preventive measures, and the significance of regular screenings.
